Rose-ringed Parakeet by Rajarshi Banarjee

Not all wildlife images need to be shot in deep forests, or remote wildernesses. Almost any semi-urban area could throw up sights that remind us of the beauty that exists right under our noses. The Rose-ringed Parakeet’s Psittacula krameri fondness for seeds, and its gregarious nature places it in conflict with farmers, often to the detriment of both.
