About the Festival

The SunPlugged Fest will demonstrate that a better way exists for Mumbai, India and the world. We will highlight the connection between biodiversity conservation and mitigating/stemming climate change, while showcasing practical low carbon alternatives. Join us in challenging every Mumbaikar's misconceptions of city life in a contemporary exploration of ancient values that can propel us towards a secure future.

Using film, dance, music and technical demos, we will showcase the work of some of India's most passionate and practical changemakers.

Bhavan's College, Andheri presents SunPlugged the GreenKarbon Solar Fest powered by Tata Power Solar, with the largest demo-solar-power plant of its kind ever seen in Mumbai. Driven from concept to creation by experts in the fields of solar energy, climate change and biodiversity, this celebration of the human spirit exemplifies our resolve, resilience and determination to create a brighter, better and happier future for ourselves. The Festival will be held from January 18-20, 2013 at Bhavan's College, Andheri, Mumbai.
